Sujata Wagh, MD
Dr Sujata Wagh finished her Medical school in India and moved to the United States in 1996. She finished her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Hospital at Columbia University in 2002. She completed her Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts. She was on faculty at the University of Chicago until 2007. She has been with Accent Physicians since 2008. She has hospital privileges at North Florida Regional Medical Center.
Her medical interests include Thyroid and Parathyroid disease, Thyroid nodules and needle biopsies, Thyroid cancer, Adrenal disorders and Adrenal nodules/lesions, Diabetes and pump therapy, Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and Osteoporosis.
Dr. Wagh is board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is accredited by the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology (AACE) to perform Thyroid Ultrasound and Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsies. She is also certified by the International Society for Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). This certification is the formal recognition of the specialized knowledge, skills, and experience to properly run a bone densitometry center and interpret bone density scans, demonstrated by existing best practices and standards in the field of credentialing.
After being in the cold weather for 11 yrs her family decided to move to Florida, which has similar weather to what she was used to growing up. She loves outdoor activities like swimming, kayaking, canoeing, and hiking and feels Florida is closer to home than ever.

Thyroid nodules and cysts are measured and detailed descriptions of their characteristics are recorded. For thyroid cancer patients, we perform a review of the surrounding lymph nodes to help determine if the cancer has spread to these lymph nodes. Our exams are performed by our thyroid specialists and endocrinologists. This allows immediate evaluation, interpretation, and discussion with the patient incorporating the patient's clinical situation.
