Dr. Mast received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1983 from Brandeis University in Waltham, MA. He went on to attend The Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ and earned his Medical Degree in 1987. From 1988 to 1993 he was a General Surgery resident at the Medical College of Virginia, in Richmond. Upon completion of his training he went on to residency training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh, in Pittsburgh, PA from 1993 to 1995.
Dr. Mast is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. In 1995, he was appointed to the position of Assistant Professor of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida. In addition he served as Chief, Section of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Director of the University of Florida Shands Wound Clinic, and as Medical Director of the Park Avenue Plastic Surgery Clinic. He is currently an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor of Plastic Surgery.
In 2000 he joined Accent Physician Specialists, PA, and is now in the private practice of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. His special interests include breast surgery, body contouring, surgery after massive weight loss, facial aesthetic surgery, and minimally invasive facial surgery. Since joining Accent, Dr. Mast's expertise has been independently recognized many times, as demonstrated by being independently selected year after year for inclusion in Castle Connolly America's Top Doctors, Americas' Top Surgeons and America's Top Plastic Surgeons.

Lindsey holds a Masters degree from the University of Florida's Adult Nurse Practitioner Program and also received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida. She is an active member of the American Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society. She has previous nursing experience from a variety of settings and served as Charge Nurse in the Burn Intensive Care Unit at Shands at the University of Florida, where she specialized in post-operative care as well as complex wound management.
Lindsey works closely with patients throughout their pre-operative and post-operative care. She has undergone extensive training with injectable dermal fillers, the administration of Botox and Dysport, Sclerotherapy, laser hair removal and laser skin treatments. She is also trained in permanent nipple tattooing following breast reconstruction. Lindsey works closely with patients in monitoring, diagnosing, preventing and treating various types of skin cancer and suspicious skin lesions.
Lindsey is committed to ensuring that each patient has a satisfying and individualized experience at Accent. She does so by listening to the needs and visions of each patient to aid in achieving natural beauty in self-confidence.
Aesthetic Clinic Director
Valerie holds a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Florida and is certified in medical aesthetic procedures. She has worked in plastic surgery for over 25 years, including nursing experience as Coordinator of Plastic Surgery at Shands Hospital and private practice at Accent Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics.
Valerie has completed extensive comprehensive training in skin care, laser skin care, laser hair removal, dermal fillers, Botox, Dysport and Sclerotherapy. She is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgical Nurses, Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses, Society of Skin Care Specialists and the Society of Medical Hair Removal.
Valerie is dedicated to each patient's quality of care providing ongoing learning and patient education encompassing the entire concept of clinically-based appearance management. She is an advocate in helping patients achieve their fullest potential through the latest technologies and procedures in aesthetic medicine.
Britney has held many positions at Accent over the years. She has worked closely with Dr. Mast for several years and is very familiar with preoperative and postoperative care of our patients. As our Patient Care Coordinator, Britney plays a critical role in all aspects of surgical and non-surgical procedures. She manages the consultation and surgical process for each patient, including handling financial issues, dealing with insurance companies, scheduling surgery and coordinating care. She does it all with a big smile and a bigger heart!
Tanya has been with Accent Physician Specialists for several months. She is the person you will most likely speak to when calling our office. She will be able to answer your questions and provide you with the information you need regarding procedures, products, fees or prices.
