Accent Now Offering TeleHealth!

We remain committed to your health in this time of crisis

We are excited to announce that we are now offering TeleHealth services to our patients. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we are now offering TeleHealth visits with our doctors and providers. Having a “virtual” visit from the comfort of your home is a great way to provide treatment and keep you safe. Our doctors will conduct a visit with you via your smartphone or computer and bill the visit to your medical insurance, just like a standard in-person visit to our office.

Give us a call today at 352-372-9414. All we need is your name and a brief description of the issue you’re experiencing to determine if a TeleHealth visit is possible for you. We will take your insurance information right over the phone and get you scheduled with one of our doctors or providers.

FAQS

What do I need to talk to the doctor during this visit?

A smartphone with a camera or a computer with a camera and microphone is required to complete this consultation with our doctors. You will also need a good wireless or Ethernet internet connection. The visit is initiated via a secure link that is emailed to the email address you provide. If you do not have access to a smartphone we suggest working with a friend or family member you may be with at this time.

I notice your office is open. Can I just walk in to see a doctor?

While TeleHealth is a great way to see one of our doctors while staying safe at home, not every condition can be treated in this way. When you call to schedule a TeleHealth visit at 352-372-9414, one of our scheduling specialists will talk with you and we may recommend you visit offices during our office hours. Our goal is to treat you from a distance when applicable, following CDC recommended social distancing guidelines. If your condition requires in-person care we would prefer to see you in our facility versus suggesting a visit to a busy urgent care of ER during this time of crisis.

Will my insurance pay for a TeleHealth visit?

TeleHealth visits are covered by Medicare and most commercial insurers. A TeleHealth visit is handled the same way that an office visit would be handled and will be billed in a similar fashion. As a reminder, we bill insurances as a courtesy to our patients. Patients are still responsible for any portion of the costs of the services not covered by their insurer (for example: co-pays, deductible amounts, non-covered services, etc.).
